This policy explains how we handle personal data on azentie.com. It is written to meet the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Lei 13.709/2018) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), whichever applies to you.
1. Controller
The controller of your personal data is Janaina Paula da Silva, identified above. There is no appointed data protection officer; data requests are handled directly by the controller at support@azentie.com.
2. What we collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | At checkout | To send the download link, the receipt and updates to the edition you bought |
| Purchase details: edition, amount, currency, country, Stripe payment reference | At checkout | To perform the contract and keep tax records |
| Billing country and tax status | At checkout, by Stripe | To apply the correct tax treatment |
| Message content | When you email us | To answer your request |
| Technical logs: IP address, browser, pages requested | When you visit | To keep the site running and to prevent abuse |
| Cookie choice | When you answer the banner | To remember your preference |
We do not ask for your name, postal address or card details. Card data is entered on Stripe's own page and is never transmitted to us. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
3. Legal bases
- Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b); LGPD art. 7, V) for delivering the kit, sending the receipt and handling refunds.
- Legal obligation (GDPR art. 6(1)(c); LGPD art. 7, II) for keeping accounting and tax records.
- Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f); LGPD art. 7, IX) for site security, fraud prevention and answering support messages.
- Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); LGPD art. 7, I) for any non-essential cookie, which is only set if you accept it in the banner.
4. Who processes data for us
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and fraud prevention | Ireland and United States |
| Vercel | Website hosting and delivery | United States, global edge network |
| Resend | Sending delivery and support emails | United States |
These providers act on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Stripe also acts as an independent controller for fraud prevention and regulatory purposes, under its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. International transfers
Because our providers are based outside Brazil and outside the European Economic Area, your data may be transferred to the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards accepted under article 33 of the LGPD.
6. How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: for the period required by Brazilian tax law, normally five years.
- Support emails: two years after the conversation ends.
- Server logs: rotated by the hosting provider, usually within thirty days.
- Cookie choice: twelve months, or until you clear your browser storage.
7. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18) and the GDPR (arts. 15 to 22) you may ask for: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction of incomplete or wrong data, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about who we shared it with, and withdrawal of consent. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Write to support@azentie.com. We answer within fifteen days under the LGPD and within thirty days under the GDPR. We may ask you to confirm the email address used for the purchase before acting on a request.
You may also complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD, gov.br/anpd) or, in the European Union, to the supervisory authority of your country.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment data never touches our systems. Access to the order records is limited to the controller. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data and creates a relevant risk, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.
9. Cookies
See the Cookie Policy for the full list and how to change your choice.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting how we use data you already gave us are announced by email before they take effect.
